Fidelity Charitable®

Fidelity Charitable® is an independent public charity that sponsors the nation's largest donor-advised fund (DAF) program. A DAF is a charitable giving vehicle sponsored by a public charity that allows donors, including Fidelity clients, to make a tax-deductible contribution and be eligible for an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants over time to IRS-qualified public charities. Contributions of various assets may be made to Fidelity Charitable, including cash equivalents, long-term publicly traded securities, and complex or non-publicly traded assets. These contributions are invested based on the donor's preferences, so the DAF has the potential to grow tax-free over time and dedicate even more funds to charity.
